Your Mission

The Strategic Programs Lead is responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of programs that support strategic diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across Activision Blizzard. Collaborates with the Activision Blizzard King (ABK) DE&I and Human Resources Leadership Teams, to influence policies and identify resources needed to create an inclusive environment for the ABK population. The Strategic Programs Lead will use evidence-based strategies to assist ABK in developing efforts to create and sustain a culture that embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion in their broadest meanings. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

Develop the DE&I strategic programs prioritization framework: define the process, templates and evaluation criteria to determine the prioritization of the DE&I strategic programs that will be initiated or supported. Develop the ‘off-ramp’ process for those efforts that cannot be supported in a rolling 12-months and how we will partner with the business to gain access to those resources to drive efforts forward and what reporting cadence is required to maintain insight and awareness. Gather feedback from various partners (i.e. other CoEs, Business Units, Communities of Practice, etc.) to refresh and refine the process as needed

Establish the proactive, reactive and sustaining process for DE&I strategic programs:

Proactive: partner with the Business Unit DE&I Officers and the CDEIO to shape the prioritized programs needed to deliver on the fiscal year objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Manager the OKR and KPI dashboard and provide monthly status reports to the CDEIO that will be used in other executive reporting.

Reactive: using the DE&I strategic programs prioritization framework, evaluate programs or requests that are brought to the DE&I team to determine prioritization. Develop a stage-gating process, including a strategic business and/or value case template to develop in partnership with the initiative originator, to determine a “go/no-go decision”. For those prioritized efforts, identify the initiative owner, develop the RACI matrix and transition to the owner for ongoing project management, inclusive of updates to the DE&I Strategic Programs Lead.

Sustaining: provide ongoing program management for the initiatives that are being owned and led by the Strategic Programs team. Drive continuous improvement against long-term DE&I outcomes through collaboration with leaders across ABK to embed DE&I into business strategy and assure continuity across BU’s and workgroups

Manage the DE&I Strategic Programs team: build a cohesive team that integrates data and analysis, market insights and business priorities into delivering on our strategic programs. Develop team capabilities to operate seamlessly within the team, across the broader DE&I team and across ABK. Provide coaching and feedback to develop the team; receive upward feedback from the team; and develop succession plan for every role on the team.
