Cybersecurity Disaster Recovery Business Continuity Lead

Partnering with the Director of GRC and SOC, the Cybersecurity Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Lead, GRC role is responsible to engage across Studios, Operations, Technology and Cybersecurity in developing and improving recovery, monitoring and testing capabilities. The person in the role will also help to drive engineering efforts to improve overall business recovery efforts within our gaming products and services.
Positions Duties:
- Works with business units to develop and ensure effective business recovery plans that allow critical business functions to be resumed within defined timetables and acceptable risk factors.
- Monitors and reports all planning activity and reporting statistical results to senior management and partners.
- Stays on top of industry-related disaster recovery processes and evaluating the efficiency of implementing changes to existing practices.
- Supervises progress of each recovery project, issues encountered and follow-through to resolution.
- Work with technologists to ensure that all critical business functions can be resumed within defined timetables and acceptable risk factors. Monitors and reports on all planning activity and statistical results to senior management and financial regulatory agencies to ensure corporate regulatory and audit compliance
- Assist in defining and implementing real-time monitoring capabilities to capture business operations/markets and transaction information.
- Produce ad hoc data and reports in support of business incident management and impact analysis.
- Lead business requirements design, use cases, UAT plans, user stories, data analysis and interdependencies.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile project management practices is desired.
- Knowledge of data management concepts including data modeling, architecture and governance is helpful.
- Experience in developing test plans, executing test scenarios.
- Develops, implements, and maintains more sophisticated processes to ensure continual operations in the event of disaster or interruption of information processing services.
- Evaluates the plans for recovery weaknesses and recommend vital modifications to ensure regulatory compliance and the ability to recover vital business.
- Educates users on the corporation’s business recovery planning software and recovery methodology.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support Zynga’s global business continuity management, crisis management, and disaster recovery programs across the company.
- Responsible for coordinating and maintaining the global business continuity and disaster recovery program to ensure our partners, products, and technologies are prepared to respond to business disruptions.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery programs including risk assessments, business impact analysis, strategy selection, and documentation of crisis management, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Plan, conduct, and debrief regular scenario-based exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly.
- Establish and maintain business continuity programs, processes and practices which optimally ensures that the program remains current, and incorporates/aligns with industry standards and practices as appropriate, and adequately covers regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related subject area or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree (science, engineering, technology) or CBCP certification is a plus.
8-10 years in business/disaster recovery required - Background leading Business Impact Assessments development and driving Business Workflow BCP procedures
- Experience in the gaming or is a plus
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Outstanding grammar, writing mechanics, and attention to detail is helpful.
