Current Opening - Head of Pipeline

Blur Studio is seeking a Head of Pipeline who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an effective and efficient studio pipeline and team.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and improve an efficient, user-friendly pipeline with a focus on studio productivity.
-Filter, prioritize, organize, and assign incoming support requests.
-Design and assign long-term development roadmaps to team members.
-Cultivate team spirit.
-Balance team member load between short and long-term development projects.
-Work with other departments to anticipate challenges and improve workflows.
-Document information and make it easily accessible.
-Attend interdepartmental meetings.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Graphics.
-5+ years of computer graphics production experience focusing on CGI pipeline design and development.
-Strong enthusiasm for technology, automation, and standardization.
-Creative problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
-Intuitive sense for when to rely on in-house development versus using off-the-shelf solutions.
-Ability to juggle between multiple tasks, work with diverse personalities, and operate within strict deadlines.
-Strengths with balancing development ownership vs. delegation in a healthy fashion
-Experience conducting code reviews and critiquing solutions and code construction
-Skill in aggregating a variety of artist feedback into elegant global solutions.
-Exceptional organizational, project management, and leadership skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Passion to inspire and energize teams.
-Demonstrable experience with most of our technological stack items (or equivalent.)
