SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Creator Program Manager is a critical part of Nexon America’s in-development content creation platform – MapleStory Worlds. The Creator Program Manager is responsible for engaging with game creators for Nexon’s MapleStory Worlds in order to build and manage programs and processes to support them. The Creator Program Manager will work with our creators and internal teams to gather feedback and ideate, create, and manage a variety of programs and internal processes to support all game creators for Nexon’s MapleStory Worlds.
We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with internal teams to build and manage support programs, resources, and initiatives to aid our game creators for MapleStory Worlds
- Manage communication channels with game creators for MapleStory Worlds to maintain engagement and gather feedback, issues, concerns and trends
- Be proficient with the MapleStory Worlds creator features to be able to assist game creators with all aspects and capabilities of the platform
- Generate regular reports for stakeholders about our game creators for MapleStory Worlds to assess and address any needs from that group
- Other duties as assigned
Work Experience
- 5+ years of work experience
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge/Skills
- Experience in gaming industry building and supporting programs to help game developers
- Experience working with diverse groups of in-game development and game creation communities
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional/cross-organizational teams
- Strong collaboration and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional project management, time management and problem solving skills
- Experience with and strong understanding of online platform games and the developers who create games for them
