Creative Coder

DigitalFish has an immediate need for a Creative Coder with professional AR production experience.

As a Creative Coder with DigitalFish, you will develop next-generation technologies that define the future of digital-media creation and consumption for millions of users. DigitalFish has long been a trusted partner of leading digital media companies, and we are at the center of their efforts to build a new generation of platforms and experiences. Your first assignment will be working with the Facebook AR/VR group, providing the technical glue for AR experiences on Facebook's Spark AR platform and taking advantage of recent advances in computer vision and machine learning. In addition, at DigitalFish you'll have a unique opportunity to help lead this invention of the future of design, entertainment and play on multiple fronts. Current and past customers include Facebook, Google, Pixar, DreamWorks, Activision, LEGO, Disney/ESPN, NASA and many others.

Responsibilities

• Create AR experiences in Spark
• Create amazing post-processing effects on a live video feed
• Develop new techniques to represent non-photorealistic styles
• Work with the Art Team to capture and implement their vision
• Provide and solicit feedback from designers and other stakeholders

Job Requirements

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related engineering field or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of professional experience working on shipped titles in the game industry
• Solid experience building titles in Unity, Unreal Engine, or other game engines, including on Android
• Development experience in more than one of the following: C#, MEL, Python, Javascript, C++, openGL, Cg, and/or Processing
• Proficient in 3D graphics math and linear algebra, with practical knowledge of transformations using matrices, vectors, and quaternions
• Familiarity with standard content-creation tools including Maya, 3ds Max or Cinema 4D; Zbrush/Mudbox; Substance Painter, and Photoshop
• Familiarity with real-time mobile graphics methods and constraints
• Experience with agile-development practices, source control, and QA processes
• Excellent communication skills to work with multi-functional teams
• Strong application-visual and interaction-design sense
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
