Copy Editor and Content Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Copy Editor/Content Manager who will act as the lens for and voice of Sago Mini’s Brand across all of our customer-facing channels. Responsible for leading execution and implementation of our content strategy, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Sago Mini brand messaging is effectively communicated to customers while supporting product delivery requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Heading execution and implementation of content strategy across our Sago Mini apps, website, consumer products, marketing channels, and content partnerships
• Mapping content journey based on product roadmaps and features
• Overseeing production from freelance talent and sourcing talent where applicable
• Working with external agency to prioritize content changes to website
• Ensuring marketing copy meets brand standards via email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and public relations
• Ensuring timely delivery of content to support mobile releases across our suite of digital products including app stores, website translations, and content review
• Collaborate across different teams to ensure company messaging imperatives are achieved while also suggesting and advising how content can be optimized and improved

Qualifications and Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in copywriting/editing and content management
• A background in working for consumer facing brands across a variety of channels
• Working knowledge of latest tools and best practices to drive and create engaging content
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Highly motivated with an ability to thrive in a growing environment
• A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with little direction
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Great presentation skills and abilities
• Intermediate to Expert level skills within the Microsoft suite and Google Docs

Nice to Haves

• Experience in children’s products or a background in working for children’s brands
• Experience in digital platforms including social and CMS tools
• Demonstrated ability to implement strategic plans within a quickly growing organization
