Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc., and the world's largest publisher of adventure games, including Magic: The Gathering® Trading Card Game and Dungeons & Dragons® Roleplaying Games has an exciting opportunity for a Contract/Temporary Sr. Technical Producer, hired through Tapfin, to work with our Live Operations Development team.


WHAT IS THIS ROLE ABOUT?
As a Contract/Temporary Sr. Technical Producer, you will be expected to develop working knowledge of the products within your domain, orchestrate various agile SDLCs for multiple engineering teams, and assist/support product owners in feature prioritization, tradeoffs, and other business decisions. You will also serve as a Scrum Master. You will often assist other Producers on large projects and be asked to lead small or medium sized projects on your own. You will also be expected to identify gaps and/or opportunities in our business and present them to leadership for future consideration.


The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and expertise in driving successful execution for one or more enterprise software projects through cross-functional management of multi-disciplinary teams who are focused on delivering amazing customer experiences on-time and within budget.


A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONTRACT/TEMPORARY SR. TECHNICAL PRODUCER:
Planning – Elaboration:
• Support development and maintenance of team roadmaps
• Create and present progress reports to leadership
• Run scrum ceremonies


Delivery - Production Management:
• Directs/manages/coordinates cross-organization efforts to develop, release, run, and maintain assigned software solutions within budget and on schedule.
• Ensures that internal and external developers meet milestones and receive all necessary technical information in order to be successful.


Leadership / Management:
• Directs/manages/coordinates cross-organization communication and execution efforts to ensure all relevant internal and external parties are appraised of plans/schedules for development, production, and live operations of assigned digital products and services.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
• Particular knowledge of continuous delivery and product delivery models.
• Experience managing digital product and/or services lifecycle from design to launch and through post-launch live operations.
• Experience leading directly and/or by influencing cross-functional development and operations teams in a matrixed/diverse organization.
• Experience driving actionable plans aligned to strategic vision and goals.
• Capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly creative, resourceful, and visionary.
• Experience working with international partners a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training:
• BA or BS preferred or equivalent years of work experience
• Highly capable with requirements analysis, software development, cloud native technologies, CD/CI, DevOps, quality assurance, and live operations.

Physical Requirements:
• Office environment, able to work on computer or phone for long periods of time
