Content Writer / Instructional Designer

Wargaming is looking for a Content Writer / Instructional Designer to create and support online game guides. To make our guides effective and engaging, we enhance them with rich media: interactive widgets, animation, and videos.

If you can explain complex stuff in simple words and would like to work with text, graphics, and animation, we want you on our team!

What will you do?

• Create and update game guides: develop structure and navigation, write text in Russian and English, localize content through outsource translators and publish it on the game portals
• Create and localize interactive and animated content for game guides and news articles (teaming up with a graphic designer and a front-end developer)
• Create presentations and corporate document templates (teaming up with a graphic designer)

What are we looking for?

• Excellent knowledge of English and Russian (Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or a related discipline)
• Ability to collect, structure, and visualize information
• Fast learning abilities

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Professional writing, editing, and proofreading experience
• Understanding of usability principles
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Basic to advanced skills with Adobe tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Animate)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Manual of Style and Chicago Manual of Style
• Experience in IT sphere
• Gaming experience
• Knowledge of Wargaming products
