The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of publishing risks in the gaming space and be able to provide clear guidance to game teams regarding their game content. This role will serve as a liaison between developers, internal support teams, and external subject matter experts. This role is responsible for tracking the content review status of a project and reporting out to all stakeholders, including franchise owners and senior management.

Key job responsibilities
- Review assets (both internally- and externally-created) for all Amazon Games projects, including text, graphics, audio, and video.
- Track and manage the review status of all provided assets.
- Partner with Legal to ensure all assets are cleared for use globally.
- Partner with Localization and Quality Assurance to ensure all assets are cleared for use geopolitically.
- Partner with Game team Product Owners to gather assets for review and to track, review, triage, and modify assets (as needed) in advance of key milestones.
- Partner with Central Certification team to ensure products are compliant with regional ratings boards and jurisdictions.
- Build awareness of content that is likely to raise concerns with regional ratings boards and jurisdictions.
- Document risk related to non-compliant assets. Build awareness of common steps that can be taken to mitigate that risk.
- Serve as the project's primary point-of-contact for all issues related to ratings, legal, and geopolitical compliance.
- Provide guidance and advice to Amazon Games employees on thoughtful and inclusive in-game asset creation.
- Establish and evangelize best practices with game teams for the creation and management of legally and geopolitically cleared in-game assets.
- Train Amazon Games staff, vendors, vendor partners, co-developers, and outsource studios on geopolitical, social, and copyright issues related to responsible asset creation.
- Works within the Content Review team to create, customize, streamline, and document workflows and processes.
- Create and foster amicable relationships with game teams.
- May undertake related special interest projects with manager approval.

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 1+ years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Understanding of the unique challenges of localizing and publishing massively-multiplayer online games and games-as-a-service
- Excellent communicator able to influence different groups in order to achieve business goals
- Understanding of modern game development and publishing practices
- Understanding of the unique challenges of localizing and publishing massively-multiplayer online games and games-as-a-service
- Sharp attention to detail
- Willingness to continually improve the effectiveness and quality of processes
- Ability to communicate with and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve cross-team goals
- Experience working in Jira and Confluence

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
