Nimble Giant Entertainment is looking for a full-time Content Designer.
Our Game Design Department is looking for a creative, resourceful and passionate Content Designer to join our team. Our ideal candidate is proactive and pragmatic, with a strong focus on delivering the best possible rendition of our game’s fantasy through its mechanics.
As a member of the Strategy Team, you will be working with the Lead Game Designer to design the units, technologies, buildings and weapons that the player will be presented with. From paper design to the final game, you will be collaborating with Developers, Designers, Artists and QA to ensure that your content contributes seamlessly to the game experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, document and implement systems and features.
- Script events, game pieces and other data-driven assets into the game.
- Create and maintain databases of objects and properties.
- Design narrative beats and write events that fit thematically with the game.
Requirements
- Professional experience in narrative design, game design or experience in similar tasks in the modding community.
- Demonstrable coding or scripting experience.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Perks
- Experience with Unreal, Unity or any 3D game engine.
- Experience modding games, specially 4X/GS titles.
