Consumer Market Knowledge (CMK) Manager

Job Description
As part of the Consumer & Market Knowledge (CMK) group, the CMK manager will provide in-depth insights into consumers and the market to accompany Ubisoft and Singapore studio’s strategy specifically, as well as South-East Asia strategy for the company.
This incumbent will also, help local and global Ubisoft teams make informed decisions and the development of brands and products developed by the studio and be a point of contact for CMK teams in Singapore, South East Asia and Paris.
Responsibilities:
- Build up and connect the Ubisoft consumer and market expertise in the studio
- Front or accompany the production of all studies, researches and data analysis on projects lead by the studios and the competition
- Identify market strategy, business, marketing and game design best practices and patterns
- Track, on a very regular basis, gaming and entertainment trends
- Whenever relevant, capitalize on the internal CMK resources to propose innovative, timing- and cost-efficient solutions for the different studios
- Collaborate with game development, business and CMK teams to convey these learning and accompany brand/game/services projects
- Cover market research needs to identify business opportunities in the South-East Asia region
- Contribute to consumer knowledge diffusion within the studios and the Ubisoft organization, feed and inspire thinking with the market and consumer studies
- Identify local market research partners for CMK local and global teams
Qualifications
As a consumer and market expert within entertainment you're ready to drive the strategy and the local team to reach the goals of our studios and our projects through market research and consumer studies for multi-million EUR projects. Your ability to cooperate within a multicultural team on a global scale enables you to come up with suggestions and scalable ideas that will fit different markets independently and follow them through to implementation. You're fluent in English and effortlessly communicate with your many different stakeholders and partners who are interested in your insights and findings.
Besides the above we’re looking for someone with experience within the following areas:
- 7+ years' experience working with the games/entertainment/media markets ideally with experience directly from the games industry as well as a relevant masters' degree within marketing, social sciences, statistics or similar
- A profound interest in the games industry, and most likely you're an avid gamer yourself
- Experience working from the client side of market and consumer analytics with projects focused on quantitative, qualitative consumer and market research and data science to support development decisions
- A focus on consulting and planning of strategic initiatives to ensure alignment on a global and local scale
- Solid knowledge of advanced statistical methodology - as well as being big data-savvy and aware of various data analysis methods to test hypotheses (Great if you have good knowledge of SPSS or similar)
- Extensive knowledge of transferring market insights into actionable points
