Consumer Insights Manager

We are Mythical Games. A Venture-backed next-generation game technology company at the intersection of video games and blockchain technologies led by industry veterans. Our goal is to lead the industry by supporting the launch of exceptional video game experiences that leverage distributed ledger technology via our platform of robust tools, technology, and data for game developers.
We are currently looking for a Consumer Insights Manager to drive research in close partnership with our marketing & growth teams.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with team members with marketing / UA backgrounds – identify ways to empower their work and support their decisions with insights.
- Uncover & size target player segments based on self-reported and/or behavioral characteristics.
- Conduct research to help grow & support our community.
- Generate insights from diverse datasets – including market data (downloads / revenue), learned insights, etc.
- Simultaneous conduct internal research while also conducting research with external partners
- Experienced conducting research to aid in product growth, from funnel analysis to generating insights on creative assets.
- Communicate research findings through persuasive, compelling written reports, and group presentations
- Build trust with partners by delivering the right actionable insights at the right time
Requirements:
- Ability to take player feedback and data and turn it into actionable insights that can be leveraged by stakeholders
- Experience acting as research lead for a project – including the building of research roadmaps informed by product needs.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple projects concurrently.
- Skilled in multiple data collection and research methods
- Highly proficient in questionnaire design, survey programming and analysis
- Experience in analytical software (e.g., Q, R, SPSS, SAS, STATA, Excel Pivot Tables)
- Experience working with external partners to execute on research initiatives
- Experience with social listening tools.
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years working in Consumer Insights
- Past experience working directly with marketing professionals
- Ability to conduct advanced statistical analysis – like factor & cluster analysis
