We are looking for a talented and passionate Concept Artist for our new unannounced AAA game. You'll work with the Art Director, Designers, and Engineers to develop high-quality concepts which create stunning visual experiences while still keeping performance in mind.
Profile Match:
- Keen observation skills, resulting in highly-detailed realistic artwork.
- Great knowledge of human anatomy, painting, illustration, and color theory.
- Able to design well-detailed, believable game assets.
- A passion for providing true immersion to the player.
- Strong attention to detail, shape, scale, and volumes.
- Strong communication ability within a multidisciplinary team.
- Well-organized and highly optimized workflow to match the production schedule.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong creative ability and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain narrative elements and create from a rational and functional idea.
- Strong ability to follow and maintain a specific art style.
- Strong knowledge of storytelling -- matching background and context to support the player's immersion.
- Ability to work closely with Designers on visual prototypes.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledge of 3D software like Maya, Zbrush, Blender, etc.
- Knowledge of cinematic lighting theory and uses.
- Open to find and research solutions that are both technically and artistically demanding.
