Community Manager Valorant

The Role

Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result into genre-defining games. Back in 2009, that vision gave birth to our debut title League of Legends, which achieved critical acclaim among players and became the most played PC game in the world. We are honored to serve over 100 million players worldwide every month.

To support our growth and nurture our relationship with the different local communities, we opened offices in countries like Istanbul. To make that launch a reality, however, we need a handful of top-tier leaders to help us lay the groundwork, starting, basically… tomorrow!

As Community Manager working for VALORANT reporting to the VALORANT Brand Manager, you will build a link with our community, ensuring that anything we ship embodies a Player-First mindset, managing programs and creating campaigns that are celebrated by our community of players. To achieve that, you'll surround yourself with outstanding partners and agencies to help you accomplish that mission.

Responsibilities:

• Be the local community ambassador, build direct lines of communication, conversations and engagement with players, ensuring they have a voice so that campaigns are adapted to their needs.
• Support the local Brand team to tailor and enhance all major game beats.
• Guide the local strategy for direct-to-player communications in VALORANT to create a consistent experience for Riot fans.
• Monitor and report local player sentiment to help guide present and future campaign strategy.
• Work with Influencer Vendor closely, inspire and manage them to create new projects
• Monitor and report local influencer & streamer charts, track all Influencer related KPIs
• Respond to the shifting needs of our community as they develop, raising emergent issues with the team and tackling them by developing projects.
• Continue building and improving our existing Creator/RPP program.
• Discover new creators within our community and build long lasting and productive relationships while maintaining the existing ones.

• Work with teams and partners to bring holistic community-focused initiatives that are loved by our players.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience working in online communities, including digital marketing, influencer strategy, programs development and community activations execution.
• Knowledge of community best practices, including communication strategies and partnerships with creators.
• Knowledge of gaming and esports community in Turkey.
• Knowledge of mobile gaming industry, mobile influencers and communities.
• Experience in crisis management and sensitive communications.
• Solid experience developing custom community activations.
• It is required to have native Turkish, and a good level of English.
• Passionate about VALORANT and its respective game genre and connected to its community, in-game language and most recent memes.
