Community Developer (Part Time)

CCP Games is looking for a part-time (50%) Community Developer to foster and grow the emerging community for EVE Vanguard.

The Community Developer will work alongside the game developers at CCP's London studio on EVE Vanguard. They will be supported by the EVE Online Community Team and collaborate with CCP's Brand, Public Relations and Game Development teams.

As part of the Community team, you will have the opportunity to build and influence the growth of a gaming community while working closely with the developers during its development.

Your Tasks:

• Collaborate with various teams within CCP to oversee and foster the growth of the EVE Vanguard community

• Organize and host regular EVE Vanguard streams via Twitch

• Develop strategies and implement tactics to engage and entertain the EVE Vanguard community

• Represent CCP and EVE Vanguard at player gatherings and events

• Work to address, communicate and feedback to developers any issues related to the features and functionality of the game

• Work with EVE Community teammates to monitor the success of community activities against the team’s overall objectives

• Proactively interact with Vanguard community across all relevant platforms and channels (social media, Discord etc.) to generate fans and followers, build relationships and foster goodwill

Your Profile:

• Familiarity with EVE Online or experience managing online communities and gaming clans

• Highly developed communications skills, a professional work ethic and a high attention to detail

• Proficiency with Discord moderation and management of Discord server(s)

• Ability to travel as required to represent Vanguard and CCP at various trade shows and industry events

• Able to work every Monday in London office in addition to 5 consecutive days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) at least once per month aligning with scheduled Vanguard playtests.

• Experience producing or hosting online streams
