Job Description
As an Engagement Community Developer at Ubisoft, your role is to amplify industry-leading community activities relying on the strength of regional operational marketing channels & teams, as well as deploying advocacy & engagement programs at a multi-territorial level. Also, you will play a key role in strengthening Ubisoft Community Network by establishing synergies between Community Developers in Production studios, Business and Engagement teams at local levels.
You will work closely with these department stakeholders and brand leaders to ensure the community’s player journey is optimized with engaging content that builds trust, added-value, and performance.
As a key global contributor of the community team, you will report to the Group Manager, Community Development & Engagement, EMEA, & will be physically integrated within the Business teams in EMEA Paris Headquarters.
Note that you will also work remotely with Business teams at our NCSA San Francisco Headquarters, and with our Community Developers based in production studios around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and executing holistic community content campaigns throughout a product’s lifecycle.
- Align the team’s priorities with Ubisoft business, ensuring our support for each title matches up with the company’s expectations.
- Deployment of community engagement & advocacy programs in coordination with Marketing & Digital operations:
- Source community content from internal resources, external agencies, and community content creators.
- Create content strategies that help amplify our community content.
- Coordinate communications, activities and initiatives with multiple internal departments for consistent and cohesive messaging.
- Work with these teams on creating updated content and strategy calendars across player channels.
- Partner with Ubisoft’s Social Media, Communications, Web Production & CRM teams to ensure all content meet best practices and standards for owned channels.
- Help define KPIs, success-measurement & iterative improvements of community & advocacy programs.
- Extension of Community Advocacy programs through local deployment with internal teams across the world
- Coordination & training of local teams to operationally run community engagement programs.
- Evangelization of the player-voice & community opportunities within Business & Operations teams:
- Collect required inputs to assist creation of the global community plans, including historical campaign performance, consumer insights, social intelligence, and feedback from players.
- Build and maintain a strong multi-team link between Business, Operations and Studios, worldwide.
Strategic contribution to building innovative community services through Ubisoft’s digital channels ecosystem
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Community, Digital Marketing, Communication or relevant
- 5+ years’ experience creating impactful campaigns
- Experience creating and publishing community content, including social media promotions and live streams
- Experience in communicating directly to consumers, ideally players
Skills and knowledge:
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and platforms
- Team-player with strong collaboration skills
- Capacity to think globally and strategically;
- Project-management skills & ability to define priorities for your campaigns
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Discord, Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Passion for videogames
- You speak English fluently
- You are open to frequent travels
- Entrepreneurial mindset & capacity to adapt with agility
