We are looking for a talented and experienced Communications Manager to develop, plan and execute public relations and social media campaigns for all Daybreak Games titles. This position will report directly to the Director of Global Communications to work on a variety of internal and external communications initiatives and help drive awareness for our renowned games and franchises.

Your Contribution:
- Develop and implement strategic media relations and social media campaigns and messaging
- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to provide PR and social media support for all major game updates and launches
- Support Director of Global Communications on internal communications protocols and initiatives that will foster employee morale and establish external partner relationships
- Collaborate with the Community and Games teams to maintain a robust social media calendar for the games to increase engagement
- Develop communications materials and ensure that it is consistent with the game’s brand, including website copy, social copy, press releases and more
- Assess and troubleshoot issues identified in the live production environments related to sales discounts, promotion availability, or advertising copy as needed.
- Write and deliver internal newsletter on a monthly basis
- Work with external agency on reaching out to influencers, media and beyond in order to arrange story placement on a national and global level
Your Experience:
- 5+ years experience leading PR and social media campaigns in the video game industry
- Strong and established relationships with key members of gaming and mainstream media
- Experience managing internal team and third-party external agencies
- Demonstrated experience with all types of social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc…) and social media tools (Hootsuite, Agorapulse)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Teams)
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Familiarity with online games on PC, console and / or mobile required
- In-depth knowledge of Daybreak games a strong plus
- Knowledgeable with media database tools (Cision, MuckRack, etc...)
- B.A. degree in journalism, communications, or equivalent
