We are seeking a driven and mature team player to push forward government related activities for Riot Games including the League of Legends, E-sports and future games. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Finance and Gov’t Relations, and play an important role in developing and executing the strategy of Riot’s China business initiatives, including: new game publishing, e sports events, license application of new games, application of financial subsidy for e-sports industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with relevant government departments / officials.

Explore cooperation model with various government authorities and local partners in relation to major e-sports events, and government industrial focused initiatives.

Monitor and update the management with regard to new legislation and regulatory, implementation rules as well as the potential impact on the company’s business. Develop and execute appropriate strategy and solutions towards the change.

Represent the company in various government meetings, forums, and other events.

Assist Sr. Director, Finance and Gov’t Relations in supporting publishing efforts, including entertainment, game, and Esports initiatives.

Assist in negotiation and application of various government e-sports subsidies.

Build and maintain a strategic network of internal and external stakeholders, including representatives from other game industry companies, associations, coalitions and other third-party allies, with the purpose to share our visions, align our common interests and promote the development of our industry

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or above with a minimum five years’ working experience.  Collaborative by nature and able to build strong partnerships.

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage a diverse and complex workload .

Sufficient knowledge and experience of gaming industry and license application.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, impeccable integrity, good judgment , strong analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to engage with government and regulatory officials.  Demonstrated ability to support and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.  Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
