Reports to: General Manager and Vice President of DICE, Rebecka Coutaz
Managerial Responsibility: Sr. Manager of Brand and Communication, Production Craft Director & Sr. Coach.
You report to the GM of DICE, and as the Chief of Staff you have a senior leadership position within the DICE team that works directly with the entire Studio leadership team, supporting the GM in her strategic and operational rhythms in leading the Studio towards it's vision. You are an essential interface that collaborates with various EA teams and with flow of information, decision-making and seamless execution to help guide DICE’s vision forward.
Proxy Leadership
Operational Management: You steer the DICE Studio leadership team day to day actions and priorities by designing & maintaining the operational model for the DICE Studio Leadership team, managing agendas and moderating. (Strategic session, monthly, weekly and daily meetings, managing agenda, prioritizing time and moderating).
Productivity: You improve the use of the GM's time by coalescing and informing her of important developments, coordinating approvals, and reducing direct involvement in daily tasks that could be resolved through other means.
Internal and external comms: You oversee the Studio’s Communications team to make sure they are enabled to reach the targets set for both the studio and the projects it leads.
Internal Partner Management: You partner with PE (People Experience) to contribute to organizational design, development of career roadmaps, leadership workshops, employee recognition programs, next gen talent recruitment and DEI programs. You support budgetary planning, and governance with Finance, Talent Acquisition, Facilities, and other EA groups, to help create strategies, improve and track execution of DICE’s hiring, contracting, planning, and business decision-making across the organization. The scope of this role also includes active participation within EA-wide programs.
External Partner Management - focus on the local environment: You build relationships and collaborate with local municipalities, government agencies, Universities along with industry associations.
Spokesperson: You act as a spokesperson at the studio and at internal and external events.
Business Leadership:
Strategic Leadership: You work with the GM to define and communicate strategic goals. Represent and communicate shared vision across the team and with partners across the company. You provide strategic and practical execution of the DICE GM’s vision, and develop and support operational plans in collaboration with the Studio Leadership.
Strategy Artifacts and Goals: You are the driver for the studio strategy and annual DICE organizational goals setting and planning, and develop it in collaboration with the DICE Leadership team. You lead the processes by which the DICE Studio sets priorities and measure the success for the studio each fiscal year. Gather and apply EA and market analysis to influence the studio's strategic direction.
Strategic Programs and DEI Efforts: You run company-wide Strategic programs that accelerate the business development of the studio, including DEI efforts.
Production Craft Development:
- You are responsible for craft development for Producers and Development Directors at DICE. Partnering with Product & Project leaders across the studio to grow competencies, develop skills, performance management programs towards DICE & Battlefield’s strategic goals.
Coaches:
- You are responsible for the coaches at DICE. Partnering with them to provide high-touch, dedicated coaching, training, support to leaders and their teams, focused on building leaders. Helping them support people and teams to set clear goals and breaks down barriers to achieving them, and anticipate challenges before they arise. Coaches are Dice's catalysts for change and improvement.
