Le chef d’équipe du soutien TI se doit de suivre les procédures établies par le service TI et emmener l’équipe à en faire autant. Il se doit de gérer, diriger, motiver, encadrer, et former les techniciens du soutien TI. Il devra aussi encadrer et former les Techniciens TI Senior dans le but de les préparer à supporter ses tâches de gestions au besoin.

The IT Support lead must follow the procedures established by the IT department and lead the team to do the same. They must manage, coordinate, motivate, supervise, and coach IT support technicians. They will also have to supervise and teach the IT Support Senior Technicians to prepare them to assist with management tasks as needed.
