Character Designer

We are extensively starting our new VFX Team in Mumbai-Andheri west.

As a Character Designer in 1518 we are looking for someone who create characters that are relatable and possess human traits that will engage an audience and understand the character’s role in the script and draw it accordingly.

Requirements

1. 3 to 5 years experience into strong drawing skills, with a specialization in character design.
2. Knowledge of anatomy and zoology, costuming, physical settings, and history-related references associated with a character.
3. Solid awareness of facial expression, pose, posture, gesture, and movement.
4. Solid understanding of visual language - texture, color, dimension, scale, perspective, shade, composition, depth of field, proportion, spatial awareness, etc.
5. Good communication skills, ability to explain concepts and support artistic choices.
6. Excellent time management skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines.
7. Team player, skilled at working independently.
8. Knowledge of the animation and/or game development.
