Business Operations & Strategy Lead

Immutable is in a prime position to exploit the rising popularity of unique blockchain assets (“NFTs”). These unique assets allow people to own anything from in-game items to digital art, music, and financial instruments. We have built Immutable X, a next-generation protocol for trading NFTs that solves the scaling, user experience and cost of using the ethereum blockchain without compromising its security.

Users and businesses are desperate for Immutable X. In fact we can’t keep up. That’s where you come in - we need people who can learn quickly, lead a team and own projects with high potential impact. Perhaps you’ve worked as a former management consultant, tech operations leader or generalist in a high growth startup.

We are looking for a Business Operations & Strategy Lead, who will flourish in a constantly changing and ambiguous environment. Success in this role is delivering a massive revenue opportunity for the business by solving novel problems without much oversight or support.

This is a unique opportunity to join a startup on a rapid growth trajectory and still early enough to meaningfully contribute to that growth. Depending on your interests and skills you will get the experience that will lead to senior operations, product or commercial roles.

Here’s how you’ll contribute:

• Plan and execute strategies for capitalising on high impact opportunities
• Conduct market analysis and develop go-to market strategies using Immutable’s assets
• Coordinate with internal teams and find external resources or partnerships to turn inbound commercial opportunities into a reality
• Structure, build and direct teams to achieve business objectives
• Steer large, cross-functional projects that are critical to Immutable’s success
• Assist with fundraising and strategic planning activities'
• Seek out and use first- and third-party data sources to support your analysis and effectively communicate insights to product and business leaders
• Analyse Immutable’s operations and assist teams to operate more effectively

A bit about you:

• You have 3+ years of professional experience
• You are a goal focussed team leader and have directed the work of a small team (3+)
• You have been accountable for the delivery of a workstream or project that had a successful outcome
• You are a decisive decision-maker, ruthless prioritise, resourceful and have exceptional project management skills
• You have a strategic mind, able to create a plan, operate under uncertainty and allocate resources effectively
• You can use qualitative and quantitative analytics to solve problems and form strong recommendations
• You have a wide range of communication skills, able to inspire a team, collaborate with peers or influence stakeholders
• You have a genuine interest and willingness to learn about crypto and NFTs

• Crypto nativity
• Operational experience working at a high growth startup/tech company
• Operational experience in tech/finance
• Experience within product, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Process improvement experience
