Business Intelligence Analyst - Product

• Support the product function across multiple games by creating datasets, metrics, reports, visualisations for presentations, models, forecasts, automation scripts and documentation using SQL, Excel and R or python. Analyse, evaluate and form independent judgments on the outputs. Work with a wide variety of data from different sources - internal and external, structured and unstructured.
• Work with game designers, feature designers and product owners to develop and report on key in-game events, QA and investigate build/event releases and ensure best practices are met in analytics development.
• Understand stakeholder teams' data / analytics requirements and work with the Data Engineering team and dev team as needed to deliver the required outputs, owning the process end-to-end from data source identification to delivery and provide ongoing support for the output datasets and reports.
• Work together with other data team members to ensure consistency in metrics definitions, implementation of analysis/BI best practices and efficient use of data outputs.
• Design and implement processes to ensure outputs are continually supported and maintained.
• Create clear and detailed documentation on the deliverables.
• Manage timelines to meet deadlines and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Advise stakeholders on use of data tools and analysis / visualisation methodologies. Contribute to the Data Science, Business Intelligence and Data Engineering community through sharing knowledge and mentoring.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject or equivalent experience.
• Substantial professional experience in an analytical role.
• Proficient to advanced skills with SQL, R or python and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to self-direct, analyse and evaluate and form independent judgments
• Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and stakeholders
• Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in Data engineering: data pipelining, API’s & database migrations.
• Experience working with user activity and event-level data.
• Foundational knowledge of mobile gaming and ad-tech businesses.
• Experience building dashboards in a tool such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau.
