Partner Manager

Austin-based entertainment and media company Rooster Teeth is looking for a highly motivated Partner Manager. The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of digital entertainment including YouTube, podcasts, live-streamed content, social media, pop-culture, gaming, and live events. The candidate would also have a proven track record of personal and professional growth, excels in a self-managed, work-from-home environment, is highly organized, and has strong written communication and phone skills. This individual must also display strong leadership skills with an innate ability to manage partner needs and expectations, and effectively resolve conflicts + problem solve fairly independently, and in a timely manner.
The Partner Manager role is positioned within The Roost partnerships division at Rooster Teeth; based in Los Angeles. The position will have a diverse set of responsibilities but a unifying goal of day-to-day management of external partners and aiding sales + distribution initiatives. This position reports directly to the Head of The Roost Podcast Network.
*In this climate of constant change, candidates must be able to work and telecommunicate from home, as well as be able to work onsite if/when that becomes an option.*
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day communication with external partners regarding sales, marketing, and distribution execution.
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing partner businesses.
- Work with accounting to provide regular sales and distribution revenue reporting.
- Competitive intelligence and identifying new partnership opportunities.
- Updating partnership materials and constructing new presentations when needed.
- Support accounts team with partner data reporting.
- Collaborate with the team on Roost brand strategy and marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years relevant experience in a sales, marketing or partnership management role
- Bachelor's Degree in Advertising/Communication, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience
- Strong PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote skills with experience building dynamic partnership decks and presentations
- Knowledge and interest of streaming, YouTube, social media, and podcast business landscape
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide strategic recommendations
- Work and cross-function with accounting, operations, sales, business development, and account teams when applicable
- Highly organized and goal-oriented
- Able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Leadership qualities that includes ownership of responsibilities and ability to resolve conflict/problem solve independently where possible.
- People-oriented and focused on balancing customer needs and expectations.
