The Role
Gala is a cutting-edge technology company specializing in blockchain solutions, gaming, and entertainment. With a portfolio of diverse tech products, we are at the forefront of revolutionizing various industries by leveraging blockchain technology to create innovative and engaging experiences for our customers. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive customer engagement for our suite of products.
As the Director of Business Development, you will identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand the adoption of our blockchain platform and other tech products. You will leverage your industry expertise and network to identify potential partners, engage in meaningful discussions, and negotiate partnership agreements that drive mutual value. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the blockchain industry and a strong track record of building successful partnerships.

The ideal candidate has prior blockchain, experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. We would love someone with a deep passion for games, strong product management skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, creative-minded environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to identify, engage, and onboard strategic partners for our blockchain platform and other tech products.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, technology providers, enterprise clients, and other potential partners.
- Identify market trends, competitive insights, and customer needs to inform partnership priorities and product integration and collaboration opportunities.
- Lead the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach and engagement to contract negotiation and partnership execution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and legal, to ensure successful partnership integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Drive partner enablement initiatives, including training sessions, workshops, and support resources, to ensure partners are equipped to promote and sell our products effectively.
- Monitor and track partnership performance metrics, including revenue growth, customer adoption, and partner satisfaction, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in business development or partnership management roles, with a focus on blockchain technology or related industries.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships that drive business growth and revenue generation.
- Deep understanding of the blockchain industry, including key players, trends, and emerging technologies, with a strong network of industry contacts.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus in complex partnership discussions.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize and execute on multiple partnership opportunities simultaneously.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for innovation and driving impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
