Business Development Intern

The Business Development Intern will be responsible for assisting the Chief Business Officer and Business Development Director with managing Gearbox Entertainment's strategic initiatives. This is a temporary position and is not expected to be long term.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the Chief Business Officer and Business Development Director
- Assist the business development team in licensing, distribution and new strategic endeavors
- Research and identify target opportunities to grow the business
- Compile market industry research
- Provide administrative assistance as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Interest in the business of gaming and entertainment (e.g., development, distribution, licensing)
- Experience with strategic planning, business strategy, financial modeling, strategic partnerships a plus
- Strong computer skills with MS Office
- Passionate and avid gamer
- Fluency with Excel and model creation
- Must be reliable
- Comfortable working and contributing independently and as a team player
- Ability to work at least 30 hours per week during normal business hours
