Job Title: Business Developer (Japanese-English Bilingual)
Job Summary: Business Developers support key strategic initiatives across multiple business pillars (video game, mobile apps, trading card game, merchandising, animation, and more). This role will begin with a focus on mobile apps and will support a variety of stakeholders and groups within TPCi and headquarters in Japan by facilitating communication and strategic alignment between offices.

What you’ll do
- Work alongside Senior Manager, Business Development to support key company intiatives with a focus on mobile apps and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities may also include supporting other areas of the business, such as video games, the trading card game, media, events, and merchandise as needed. Coordinate with various stakeholders within TPCi and headquarters in Japan, as well as other partner organizations, to identify and overcome obstacles to achieve goals and deliver results.
- Support projects by being a point of contact between headquarters in Japan, partner organizations, and internal TPCi teams. Duties include general project coordination, tracking and reporting progress to stakeholders, and ensuring assigned tasks are executed on time.
- Coordinate with headquarters in Japan and partner organizations to ensure that the TPCi marketing teams are fully informed to conduct globally aligned marketing activities. Review marketing assets and copy to ensure accuracy.
- Research, analyze, and report on key business metrics and industry trends.
- Flexibly conduct administrative tasks to support the President and the entire Business Development team.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of related professional experience.
- Experience in game development, including localization, or game marketing is a plus.
- Bi-cultural and bilingual with strong written and verbal communications in both English and Japanese. Solid understanding of Japanese culture and business customs.
- Eagerness to learn about the brand in depth. An existing passion for the Pokémon brand is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office products.
- A proven track record of career progression
