The Challenge
The Business Continuity Manager will become an integral part of the resiliency architecture supporting Take-Two Interactive. This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Continuity professional who is looking to expand their portfolio into the entertainment sector and be part of a growing BC program where your skills will be tested, strengthened and developed as part of a cutting-edge team. You will have the opportunity to implement BC strategies with new and existing business lines, you will be challenged to take core BC principles and adjust them to fit with company culture while keeping true to best BC practices. You will build relationships across all levels of the organization and partner with other departments in the organization to reduce impacts to our people, business operations and critical locations.
What You’ll Take On
- Support business lines to develop and maintain business continuity plans
- Lead business process review meetings with process owners
- Complete Business Impact Analysis (BIA) as part of process reviews
- Partner with various Take-Two departments to advance the Emergency Preparedness Program at our locations around the globe
- Revise crisis playbooks and risk assessments in partnership with our studios and offices
- Develop and maintain partnerships across all levels of the organization in locations around the globe
- Partner with business lines and locations to conduct training and exercises for both business continuity plans and crisis response playbooks
- Quickly synthesize and assess information to inform your decisions on how to escalate and act during an emergency
- Use BC applications and systems to support all elements of the BC Program
- Administer the enterprise mass notification system, including ongoing maintenance and training
- Respond to ad hoc requests for information and support related to BC and risk initiatives, both tactical and strategic
- Manage program metrics; maintain and prepare executive level reports on program status
- Manage multiple workstreams with different stakeholders and timelines
- Manage contract staff and vendors to advance the program
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in the Humanities, Business, Emergency Management or related field; Master’s degree a plus
- 5+ years of experience in a full-time Business Continuity role; experience in a non-highly regulated industry a plus; Emergency Management experience a plus
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent from DRII or BCI; Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) a plus
- Knowledge of existing business continuity, emergency management and crisis management standards (e.g. ISO 22301, NFPA-1600, etc.)
- Fluency and experience with standard business continuity practices and terms (BIAs, risk assessments, recovery time objectives, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization is required
- Demonstrated ability to manage a project from beginning to end or steady-state
- Experience working under pressure during an actual crisis response and/or activation of a business continuity plan
- Ability to synthesize complicated issues and present options and next steps both verbally and in writing
- Experience planning and conducting training and exercises in support of business continuity and crisis response plans including exercise design and development with a focus on exercise objectives, expected actions and after-action reports
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and drive success outside of direct reporting lines
- Experience partnering with departments outside of traditional reporting lines to support business continuity and crisis management initiatives; experience with a technology-centric enterprise a plus
- Experience working with Disaster Recovery teams to communicate business process requirements
- Able to identify unique and realistic solutions to difficult problems
- Proficiency in BC support tools (e.g. Fusion, Sungard, etc.) and mass notification systems (e.g. Everbridge, Send Word Now, MIR3, Alert Media, etc.)
- Comfortable working and adapting in a dynamic environment and achieving goals independently when needed
- Able to travel domestically and internationally, up to 15% of the time
- Able to adjust normal working hours to meet with business partners around the globe, on occasion
- Able to work after-hours, on weekends and holidays during emergencies, as needed
