Job Title: Business Analyst, UK eCommerce (Pokémon Center)
Job Summary: Researches, analyzes, and recommends improvements to an organization's business processes in order to improve overall organization performance.
The Pokémon International Company is embarking on an innovation journey and radically transforming its digital commerce capabilities to meet accelerating international demand for original and collectable Pokémon products. We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team!
You will be working with our eCommerce Project Management team / Operations Team and will be responsible for the management and delivery of operations-related projects across various platforms.
The Business Analyst role will oversee the Managed Service Providers who maintain daily operations for the eCommerce system. You will analyze and work to ensure that daily operations for the eCommerce system run properly and will coordinate with other departments to identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise. You will also be coordinating special projects to maintain timelines, create schedules, and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who loves data, can manage multiple projects and enjoys collaborating with cross functional teams while keeping the lights on from an operations standpoint.

What you’ll do
- Oversee Managed Service Provider team to execute daily operations/projects effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinate daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies with Managed Service Providers and other teams as needed.
- Manage workload and tickets for service providers and development team.
- investigate and troubleshoot issues including monitoring logs and performing regular transaction audits.
- Manage Customer returns and coordinate with other teams involved in the process.
- Manage special projects including preorders transaction oversight from start of preorder offering to shipping of product.
- Define scope, budget and schedules for operations and special projects. Analyse and track hours for Managed Service Providers and Development team.
- Coordinate MSP Statement of Work and other development deliverables.
- Assess ongoing operations and project risks and issues and suggest solutions where applicable.
- Collaborate to determine best-practice processes for expanding eCommerce business into new markets.
- Lead documentation creation for internal platform processes.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and other business user testing for projects.
What you’ll bring
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of eCommerce focused Business Analyst, Operations and/or Project Management experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Conversant with eCommerce platforms, technology transactions and order processing.
- Previous experience with projects involving cross functional teams.
- Knowledge of and experience with Agile project management methodologies including SCRUM and Kanban.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality.
- Proven organization skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Success operating within fast-paced environment.
- Team player, open minded to different cross functional teams’ views.
- Experience with QA, Business User Testing and/or User Acceptance Testing (writing user stories) preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Macros, SQL, VLOOKUP in Excel), Jira, Confluence, Tableau.
- Excellent computer skills, including the ability to use software for data analysis and presentations.
- Openness to new ideas and forward thinking to build new products or processes.
