Position Intro

Ranked as the #1 Major Publisher in Metacritic’s 9th Annual Game Publisher Rankings, Capcom continues to deliver world-class, award-winning titles and we are searching for a Brand Marketing Manager to join our talented team. The role of the Brand Marketing Manager is to assume marketing ownership of titles within the Resident Evil franchise, with a strong focus towards Go to Market Strategy and maximizing the sales potential of titles across North and South America.

Reporting into Capcom USA’s Head of Marketing, an ideal candidate for this role must be a creative, analytical and detail-oriented self-starter who possesses strong multi-tasking and execution skills. This role is responsible for managing effective, innovative, and cost-efficient marketing campaigns, while working collaboratively with Capcom’s European and Japanese promotional teams, as well as the Development team in Japan. The Brand Marketing Manager should be capable of managing a large AAA marketing campaign with limited oversight, as well as management of Associate Brand Managers.

Resident Evil Franchise Summary

Resident Evil is the most successful horror genre video game franchise of all time and Capcom’s biggest brand with more than 91 million units shipped worldwide to date. Stretching across both film and video games, the franchise has thrilled fans for over two decades with critically acclaimed, genre-defining game titles. The franchise’s most recent release was “Resident Evil Village”, winning 4 awards including Ultimate Game of the Year, PlayStation Game of the Year, and Best Audio. The game has now shipped over 5 million copies since its release in 2021, an impressive follow-up to the franchise’s recent mega-hit remakes “Resident Evil 2” and “Resident Evil 3”.

Travel Requirements

This job includes regular domestic air travel and occasional international travel, primarily to Japan. Travel can be as often as 20% of the time and the applicant must be willing to travel regularly and be prepared to attend and work at a variety of industry events.

Licenses, Certifications and Other

A valid California Driver’s License.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift objects of up to 25 pounds in weight. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
