Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)

And nowadays we're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Data team. It’s an opportunity to build a set of mission-critical solutions for Tilting Point’s MarTech offering using a fresh stack of modern technologies.

As part of the team, you will work on building and operating secure, reliable, and maintainable services in an event-driven architecture. You will collaborate with various internal teams and data engineers to create products which power live operations of the company and its Data Platform serving billions of requests per day.

Your future at Tilting Point

• Elevate functionality, scalability and stability of petabyte-scale Tilting Point Data Platform.
• Design, implement and maintain tools for various teams from start to finish: User Acquisition, LiveOps, WEB3 and Blockchain.
• Drive important architectural decisions with a high level of autonomy.
• Help other team members to grow their engineering and leadership skills.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Excellent knowledge of Go
• At least basic knowledge of Java and willingness to improve it
• Experience in architecting complex solutions ( SOA, event-driven architecture, caching, message brokers, etc)
• Understanding how to deliver a well-designed, high-quality code in a predictable manner
• Experience with cloud solutions: AWS or GCP
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Excellent English communication skills

Nice to Haves

• Experience in Scala or Python
• Experience in building real-time data processing platforms
• Experience in building highload systems
• Experience with Blockchain
• Experience working with Kubernetes, gRPC, protobuf, Kafka, Keycloak

This position is based in Barcelona.
