Backend Engineer

As a backend engineer, you will primarily work with the team to design and build backend services which includes, on-demand microservices and backend-apis for our social identity and rewards platform. You will collaborate closely with Engineering Leads, Architects, and Product teams to identify, build, test, and deploy the backend systems. Also to ensure efficient use of resources and to help ensure proper integration with our broader cloud infrastructure.

We are seeking talented backend engineers to join our team. Your responsibilities as a backend engineer will include:

• Build, test and monitor backend services
• Tool development for internal use cases
• Engineering and designing microservices
• Working together with engineers and product teams

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of industry experience in building backend APIs and microservices
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Good analytical skills with strong fundamentals of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure (like. AWS)
• Experience with databases
• Ability to think critically and creatively in a dynamic environment, while picking up new tools and domain knowledge along the way
• A positive attitude, and a growth mindset
