Catalog Games operates at the forefront of mobile gaming innovation, leading a portfolio of 9 iconic King games. We are looking for Java Backend Developers to bolster our game development efforts within the Catalog Games team.

Our goal is to pioneer new products, processes, and systems specific to game development, leveraging our existing tech stack, diverse knowledge and skill sets. We aim to ideate and execute improvements that directly impact the quality, performance of both our teamwork and the player experience of our games. By collaborating across disciplines, you'll contribute to building the backbone for game features, services, tools and the overall architecture that supports our diverse game portfolio. Your Role Within Our Kingdom

Joining our team means you'll play a crucial role in developing amazing user experiences and entertainment for millions of players worldwide. You will work within a highly competent team of developers, focusing on creating large- scale systems that enhance game development processes, improve efficiency, and support the seamless integration of game features across Catalog Games' titles. Your efforts will ensure the delivery of high- quality, well- structured code from a user- centric perspective.

Our tech team is acting as a central hub for game development, ensuring that our platforms and systems support the diverse needs of all games and teams within Catalog Games. Your responsibilities will include being an active team contributor, achieving excellence in your domain, operating within cloud- based development environments, developing tools to enhance game development and maintenance, and working closely with our Java server frameworks to ensure the delivery of top- notch quality code.

Skills to Create Thrills:

• A deep passion for programming, quality, and polish.
• An analytical mindset with a comprehensive understanding of the tech stack.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
• Proficiency in Java, databases, web development, cloud computing services (especially Google Cloud), and UNIX environments.
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals, design patterns, and Object- Oriented programming knowledge.
• Understanding of concurrency, scalability, and the challenges of large- scale systems.
• Excellent teamwork, flexibility, and multitasking abilities.
• Fluent in English.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with NoSQL, BigData, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bash.
• Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in additional programming languages, especially Python or C++.
