The Avatar Tools Designer at Roblox will be responsible for the design of tools to help the Roblox Developer community create Avatar assets. This includes animations, emotes, rigs, body meshes and other related items. The Avatar Tools Designer will be responsible for improving existing workflows and creating new ones that help lower the barrier to entry, while giving developers the flexibility they need to create diverse experiences on Roblox.
You Are:
- Experienced with 5+ years in dev tools, user generated content tools or a related design field
- 2+ years of experience working on a shipped product with a robust content creation component
- Experience working with a variety of cross-functional partners and stakeholders (for example product managers, designers, engineers, researchers and data scientists)
- Established as a thought leader within product design or other relevant industries
- Experience in game development or 3D tooling
You will:
- Build cohesive user-centric tools to create Avatar assets
- Improve existing systems to help bring new developers into the fold
- Create new systems for future developer tools
- Partner with product stakeholders in building end-to-end designs for the product
- Design and build a vision for the future of the Roblox Avatar tools
