We’re now looking for an experienced Audio Designer (Contractor) to work with us. You’ll be working closely with our Head of Audio to mix, edit, and record audio for our gamers and various interactive products.
What You’ll Be Doing With Us:
- Collaborate with our Audio Lead and Team Leads to establish an audio style for each product
- Record, mix, and modify sounds for buttons, interactables, and other elements in products
- Setup, establish and document audio production for products
- Work with engineering to establish an implementation pipeline.
- Ensure audio is of high quality and consistent on all device speakers and external headphones
- Provide audio support for trailers, podcasts, additional media
- Maintain and update sound library with each product
Who We Want To Meet:
- Knowledge and proficiencies in various DAW’s (Reaper, Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, etc.)
- Experience implementing and mixing audio with Unity’s audio systems
- Music composition and sound design skills
- Experience in using different audio hardware to record and mix
- Degree in audio design/engineering
- Technical problem solving skills when implementing audio or debugging hardware problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with Reaper specifically
- A degree in an audio-related field
- Experience in Perforce or other version control software
- Experience with scripting (C#, Java, etc.)
- Knowledge of synthesis and synthesizers
