Many of our projects bridge the gap between interactive storytelling, and cutting (sometimes bleeding) edge technology. That’s where YOU come in – for any of our installation projects across the globe, you will be our ‘boots on the ground’ and behind the scenes.
Experience and knowledge installing things like pipe/drape, displays, scenic staging and audio support equipment are a major plus. Expect to work hard handling Client communication, deadlines, timelines, long hours, and ever-changing milestones.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrives ahead of scheduled event/launch to set-up, install and assist Client
- Loading and unloading equipment, large scale equipment as needed in a safe and efficient manner
- Inspect equipment and scenic fabricated props for show quality and report any deficiencies to the Crew Leaders; including damaged, non-functional equipment or scenic props
- Follow verbal directions, printed diagrams and layouts as assigned with minimal supervision when setting up spaces.
- Ability to pivot efforts to any last-minute changes or anticipate the needs of the client/guest.
- Assembles props, scenic elements and attaches braces that support scenery frames in upright position, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
- Delivers scenery and staging elements to the event location
- Work cooperatively with Team, meeting planners, Installation Lead, etc. to assure client satisfaction with the smooth, efficient and successful operation of the event.
- Operate and maintain equipment, materials, tools, and supplies used in technical production and basic set design.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Willingness to engage with client’s and guests
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Must have a valid driver license with a clean driving record
- Available to work overnight and weekends when needed
- Available to travel for installation (out of town, out of state, out of country)

Compensation & Salary:
- Base hourly plus timeline-based bonuses.
- All hours and Travel & Expense (T&E) must be notated for the company.

Education & Experience:
- 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
- 1+ years of event installation experience is preferred.
Additional Information:
- Responsible for accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise.
- Complies with all Company security and safety measures.
- Ensures equipment is secure from theft and/or damage when in use.
- Strong technical portfolio.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Note: You must be a US citizen or have a work permit to work in the US. This position is temporary, contracted, and assigned by project.
