Job Title : Associate Technical Director
**Note**: Final Designation / Level will be decided based on the relevant experience and interview ratings
Job summary:
The Associate Technical Director is responsible to
- Assert yourself as your project’s technical point of contact with different Ubisoft entities that would include partners and clients. Carry a strategic vision for scaling and building the team’s skillsets by anticipating, being agile and driven toward the future.
- As an associate technical director your responsibility will include working with our partners/clients to understand project goals and then working with the project manager/producer to develop plans and schedule that would achieve them.
- Take decisions about technical aspects of the project to make sure that all the project goals for development and live-ops are achieved timely and with expected quality.
- Empower and develop the team with a long term perspective. Determine human resource needs; set and follow up on recruiting best talents, Training and Contingency plans. Lead and manage senior staff members and help them develop a culture of feedback and constant improvement.
- Organizing and optimizing the team workflow to ensure a simpler and clearer coordination and communication across project leads and topic experts.
- Good understanding of various KPIs of a live game
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with all stakeholders to understand project goals and translate these goals into achievable plans and schedules. Setup processes and streamline processes.
- Anticipate project risks, discuss them with stakeholders prepare mitigation plans, update work schedules.
- You will be working with an excellent team of professionals having very different sets of skills like game programming, backend programming, build engineering, data management etc. We expect from you to know your team: who they are, what their strengths are, what they aspire to and assist them in finding their ideal positioning and future career within the company.
- ·You will further focus on how to enable people take ownership and drive their own engagement as individuals and as a team. Support them by increasing their level of self-awareness and guiding them towards a higher level of perspective.
- You will be taking part in recruitment and preparing the training plans.

Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent.
- Over 10 years of experience in programming on a specific console or in a specific field or other relevant experience.
Skills:
- Strong programming skills
- Strong C++ skills
- Knowledge of game development
- Knowledge of a game engine like Unreal engine or Unity
- Knowledge of development of online services
- Knowledge of devops
- Understanding of Linux OS
- Knowledge of backend and frontend technologies [Node/C#/.NET/Python/Angular/React.js]
- Knowledge of SQL and noSQLdatabases [MySQL/Mongo etc]
- Experience of deploying and running live games/application
- Understanding of GAAS/SAAS model
- Analytical and synthesis skills.
