Your Mission
The Platform Integrations team is responsible for helping game teams successfully integrate with Blizzard Entertainment’s world-class Battle.net platform. Using a variety of services, tools, and software development kits, we partner with teams to deliver a highly scalable yet easy to use platform that lets game developers remain focused on creating epic gameplay experiences.
As a Solutions Architect, you will have the opportunity to help shape the next generation of Activision Blizzard Battle.net offerings from social to commerce while also developing your skills and furthering your career with one of the most innovate video game companies in the world. You’ll partner closely with engineers and product managers across multiple teams to ensure that client and server best practices are used to build scalable, flexible, and resilient systems within our games and on the web.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Onboarding new integrations: Guide teams through the process of integrating with the battle.net platform by understanding their requirements, service configuration, curating integration guides, answering questions, diagnosing logs, creating sample projects, and more.
- Support the evolution of Live Service Games: Help teams as they continue to evolve their live service games with new features and offerings from the Battle.net platform.
- Communicating with stakeholders: Maintain clear lines of communication between various teams by maintaining checklists, tracking issues, ensuring team understands existing platform offerings and identifying feature gaps.
- Ensuring Integration Quality: Ensure integrations are battle tested before reaching players. This includes guiding teams towards the correct implementation of Battle.net capabilities, certifying games for quality integrations, and supporting integration modernizations.
- Maintaining integrations after initial launch: Establish best in class practices around telemetry and alerting, as well as partnering with teams to maintain state of the art integrations as the platform evolves.
- Technical documentation and tools: Design and author high quality technical documentation, integration guides, support tools, and samples code for our partners.
- Identifying improvement opportunities: Continuously identifying areas of improvement in all phases in the integration process from planning to post launch.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a partnership mindset and empathetic approach.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
PLUSES
- Software domain experience, including delivering and integrating systems and APIs to multiple consumers.
- Familiarity with high availability and scalability architectural concepts
- Knowledgeable in various forms of testing including integration, regression, acceptance, functional and load testing.
- Understanding of web technologies at scale: HTTP, JSON, OAuth, edge caching, etc.
- Comfortable with Java, C++, and/or C#

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $27.64 - $51.14 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
