Associate Producer / Project Manager
Gasket Games Corp. is looking for a process-driven Associate Producer to join our Production team. As an Associate Producer you will be responsible for managing schedules, planning tasks, and tracking deliverables and critical dependencies between groups. You understand how to manage and optimize work-flows, track project milestones as well as team scope and capacity. You are a creative problem solver and you know how to come up with solutions while fostering a great work environment.
What does the day-to-day look like for this role?
- You will work with the Production team on a variety of tasks related to the development of specific features and deliverables.
- You will coordinate and collaborate with a variety of content creators including QA, Designers, Artists, Software Engineers, etc.
- You will create, maintain and update tasks in JIRA or similar tools.
- You will produce reports and status updates for your respective areas.
- You will proactively identify and communicate potential production problems, goals and changes to the team.
- You will contribute to daily scrums and support the teams in achieving their goals.
- You will facilitate conversations, schedule meetings and follow-ups as well as track and share notes.
Who are you?
- You have ideally completed at least two projects as an Associate Producer/Producer/Project Manager, not necessarily in games.
- You are detail-oriented and feel comfortable setting up, maintaining scrum teams, maintaining sprints, and updating schedules and deliverables.
- You have previous production experience within agile or scrum methodology ideally using tools such as JIRA.
- You are self-driven and you work well across teams.
- You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- You work well under pressure and you have a positive attitude.
- You have experience working with multiple stakeholders across geographically dispersed teams.
