Summary of Position
The Associate Producer is responsible for running a successful live mobile game service. This includes executing the vision of the Producer by collaborating with various departments - including game developers, marketing, player support, community, design, content, and localization teams - to ensure the timely, high-quality delivery of various game services.
We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordination of tasks, resources, dependencies with various internal teams (Community, Marketing, Legal, Creative and Localization), as well as external teams (Nexon global offices, third party partners) to deliver on Producer’s objectives in a timely manner
- With understanding Producer’s long-term plans, responsible for breaking down to relevant stakeholders short-term plans that may include but are not limited to: weekly reports generation, asset creation, community monitoring, updating contents schedule and organizing assets
- Assists producers to craft a vision and a strategy for the live service of the game, including creating an integrated strategy to ensure successful live game updates
- Reviews every aspect of the live game services plan/executions and ensure they are aligned with the producer’s vision and direction of the game; ensure that we are delivering the KPI requirements of the game
- Reviews all relevant metrics to gauge health of game (Key Performance Indicators, ban/ticket counts, community reports, server stats, etc.) to identify and propose solutions for current and/or potential issues. Collaborate with teams to overcome issues and improve the overall service and product quality. Suggest and manage ongoing live operations, IAP plans and analyze game performance
- Develop and maintain a high understanding of the overall project to provide informed feedback and understand player needs; identify and support improvements to any internal and external processes
- Play assigned games and research competitor games to understand users and recent trends in order to share the game improvement suggestions to the game developer
- Engage with fans in person and promote your product through Nexon’s MapleStory Fest and other trade shows

Work Experience
- 2+ years of mobile game production/development experience
- 2+ years of mobile games launch, live operations
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong understanding of mobile Free-To-Play game design, development, and operations
- Ability to cull actionable and meaningful insights from data analysis
- Demonstrated understanding of cohort analysis and control variables
- Strong research and analytical skills with great attention to details
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Solid understanding of the mobile game's environment
- Project management, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience providing qualitative and productive game design feedback
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional/cross-organizational teams
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in Korean and English is a plus
- Experience designing/operating/analyzing ongoing live operations and planning IAP sales strategy is a plus

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)
The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $57,961 - $86,537 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
