The Nitty Gritty:
We are on the lookout for an Associate Producer committed to delivering a quality product to join our Production Team on a full-time basis. This role will help manage day-to-day production and project management for Live Operations titles, including but not limited to new features, content, software, and platform updates. This position is available in our London, Ontario studios.
The Duties:
- Able to multitask and coordinate projects in various stages of production
- Allocate resources, prioritize/assign tasks, and establish team milestones
- Identify risks and problem solving within the project
- Manage development processes including scheduling, meetings, and reviews
- Point of contact for vendors and 3rd party contractors
- Work and coordinate closely with remote teams
- Work collaboratively with a cross functional team of Developers, Game Designers, Marketing, User Acquisitions and Creative team to meet marketing needs
- Identify and communicate all roadblocks and bottlenecks teams might encounter
- Communicate frequently with the production team and leads on project status;
- And supports them in daily management
The Essentials:
- 2+ years of experience in an Associate Producer/project management role within the video game industry managing development teams
- Post Secondary education in business or management field or equivalent experience
- Experience working with tracking tools and software such as JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite etc.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals and methodologies, Agile & Waterfall.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with maturity and leadership
- Ability to work and communicate effectively across teams involved in a game development lifecycle
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Passion for video games
