Associate Producer [Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora] (f/m/d)

Job Description
As part of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you will play an instrumental role in bringing to life the beautiful and dangerous world of Pandora. This is an opportunity for you to keep growing your experience in games while working hand in hand with Disney’s creative minds and James Cameron's production company, Lightstorm Entertainment.
In this role, you are responsible for guiding a powerful and balanced team that is creating outstanding content for the world of Pandora. Reporting to the producer the role will also involve management of communication between different parties, sites and group units. You will use your experience and proven track record to track the progress of your teams, to achieve the production objectives and to ensure that the team members remain committed and highly motivated.

- Establish and maintain a healthy team spirit with open communication, constructive feedback culture, easy and lean processes and realistic goals.
- Have an analytical eye, optimizing workflows and processes to make coordination within the team members on different sites as simple as possible.
- Supporting the Producer, Lead and Recruitment with hiring and on-boarding of new employees
- Planning and scheduling for your area of the project including planning documentation, tools and constant monitoring of progression.
- Identifying issues and risk mitigation to reduce the impact on the content, schedule and/or quality and initiate contingency plans where necessary.
- Ensure proper bug management (bug reports, priorities, etc.)
Qualifications
- Multiple years of experience in production roles within game development.
- You have shipped at least one AAA title either on PC and/or console from start to end as an Associated Producer.
- You have experience in building and leading high performing teams
- You know how to use common project management methods and tools (Jira, Confluence) in game development to support your team
- You are eager to collaborate with multiple international teams, both internal and external.
- Your communication skills (in English) give you the confidence to mediate conflicts, make exciting presentations and solve difficult negotiations.
- Great flexibility to adapt to a whole series of situations & manage interdependencies
- Your work and leadership mindset is characterized by a people-centred approach, a collaborative and innovative spirit and a strong motivation to build great games
Bonus
- You are familiar with art & content production on games and know its complex production environment inside out.
- You already gathered some first experience with the integration of outsourcing vendors into the content production pipelines
- You already worked with Shotgrid as a content management tool and know-how to create meaningful workflows and dashboards
- In a life, prior to production, you started as an artist, programmer, designer or dev tester.
- You have some hands-on experience with submission processes
