Job Purpose:


The Games & Services Operations team takes care of Player Experience at its core, driving an improved experience by leveraging data and player stories to bring insights to wider Ubisoft teams. The team surfaces and communicates strong recommendations and concrete use cases, to ultimately remove friction and help achieve company goals around acquisition and retention.

Your role would be to lead the team that work on the Ubisoft Games experience, working on famous games such as Rainbow Six: Siege, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6 and many more. You will manage a team of dedicated games specialists whilst also leveraging resources to support your operations through an internal development program. You will be in charge of implementing the vision you have designed, ensuring the growth in skills, scope and influence of your team whilst also ensuring optimum impact of your operations on Player Support KPIs.

Through your activities, you will engage with various teams and build a strong network within Ubisoft, lobbying for the Player Experience and placing players firmly as a key stakeholder.

Mission

Being the Player Live Operations team, protecting the player experience in Ubisoft Games:
• Shape & implement a vision, driving your team to effectively represent the player voice for all Ubisoft Games.
• Lead the Game Operations team toward being risk mitigators and opportunity creators for other CRC teams by using your network & awareness of upcoming live activities.
• Design & Report on KPIs to review the health of Ubisoft Games on the Player Experience & operational support side.
• Ensure your operations are enabling Player Support to meet their KPIs and empower them to ensure the maximum efficiency to provide players the smoothest experience with the processes, information, tools & voice they require.
• Design & Report on KPIs to review the health of Ubisoft Games on the Player Experience & operational support side.
• Develop & coach a team of Specialists to increase their Live Ops expertise.
Manage a resource sharing & growth program allowing you to bring scalability & succession plans to your operations:
• Lead a program allowing Player Interaction Specialists to grow toward Live Operations management and be involved in supporting Game Operations.
• Oversee the performance management of people involved in your operations through the growth program ensuring their management are aware of their evolution.
• Help forecast activity needs to give visibility on the extra resource you plan to leverage.
• Build a succession plan to support growth in your team & increase expertise in the local pool of talents.
Guide the team to convert their expertise to projects aiming to improve Player Experience:
• Place Game Operations as a key stakeholder in player experience for Ubisoft Games.
• Help the team leverage players voice & data to create and convert opportunities to improve the Player Experience.
• Ensure learnings from live games are leading to projects to help design a better player experience.
• Grow & maintain a network allowing your team to be involved at design phases.
