Job Description

Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking an Associate Media Planner, Global Media for a 5-month contract to support the planning, execution, and analysis of large- and small-scale campaigns targeted to a range of audiences (core, casual, family).

This role will be responsible for managing global digital campaigns that include paid channels such as Meta, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Programmatic, Search, PlayStation, and Xbox. They will report to a Media Planner, Global Media, and work closely with global planning, channel managers, agencies, and platforms partners to create best-in-class campaigns that drive measurable results.

The media team is part of a fast-paced and high-demand marketing team and as such, strong project management, organization, and critical thinking skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities:

• Support in the development of paid campaigns including the crafting of media mixes, audience strategies, creative journeys, flighting, and tactics by the platform for North America and EMEA regions

• Coordinate with channel managers on the operations of paid campaigns on Meta, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Programmatic, Search, PlayStation, and Xbox

• Stay up to date on brand marketing communications, adapt media plans as needed, and communicate updates to key stakeholders to ensure alignment

• Maintain accurate budgets and flowcharts, including post-campaign reconciliation and billing

• Lead all aspects of execution including spec sheets, timelines, creative rotations, and asset deliveries

• Ensure proper delivery, pacing, and tracking of all media tactics

• Analyze the effectiveness of media channels during and post-campaign, and provide actionable insights and optimizations on a regular basis

Qualifications

• In-depth experience in planning YouTube and paid social platforms is required

• Experience at a media agency or brand side preferred (bonus if the background is in entertainment or gaming)

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively articulate complex ideas to gain buy-in with key stakeholders

• Ability to adapt quickly to an agile and at times ambiguous environment, and manage these changes with cross-functional teams

• Proactive, accountable, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, highly charged environment

• Experience navigating highly matrixed organizations; a natural collaborator who enjoys working across teams and building and strengthening partnerships to achieve desired results
