What if you had the opportunity to play a key role in the design and development of an ambitious and innovative AAA game?
Under the direction of the Lead Gameplay Programmer, you will participate in the definition of the technical orientations of the project. You will be responsible for the architecture, production and implementation of Gameplay features.
Your missions as an Associate Lead Gameplay Programmer within the studio Ubisoft Bordeaux:
- Combining strong managerial and technical skills you pilot a team of gameplay programmers in charge of transcribing creative ideas into gameplay elements.
- True technical reference on the project, you must understand and challenge the game design intentions to improve the player experience.
- You prioritize and manage the daily tasks of the team: monitor and evaluate their work, schedule management, empower and manage their performance (objectives, regular feedback, etc.).
- You make sure team goals are met on time, on budget and meeting the needs of production teams,
- You manage all communications and meetings with other teams and other studios in French and English,
- You maintain a collaborative and creative spirit in your teams
- You participate in the sharing of information and knowledge in your field.
Qualifications
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the video game industry preferably within an AAA production.
- You have an excellent command of C ++
- You have a good level of English to ensure communications and meetings intra and inter studio
- You demonstrate leadership and a strategic vision for your team.
- You know how to adapt to new situations and make the necessary changes
