Associate Game Designer (Duel Masters)

We are looking for an Associate Game Designer for our Japanese fan favorite Duel Masters Trading Card Game. Are you passionate about Tabletop Card Games? We are looking for a self-motivated, curious, and creative problem solver who is a phenomenal teammate and a quick learner.
What You'll Do:
- Craft cards and sets as part of Initial Design, Final Game Design, Development, and Play-testing teams for all products.
- Coordinate the design process with the team leader, the Design Manager in Duel Masters R&D, and the Designer Manager in our Japan office.
- Keep an eye on current real-world play styles, formats and play environments for Duel Masters through collaboration with our JP office and DM partners. Transmit all takeaways from this process to the US R&D team.
- Actively participate in team meetings and discussions by adding constructive, reasoned, provocative insights to the conversation.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent game design experience.
- 4+ years of experience playing Trading Card Games.
- Completion of at least 2 full development cycles as an Associate Designer or comparable position.
Nice to Have:
- Above business level in Japanese language (reading, writing, speaking).

Compensation Range
$56,000 — $95,640 USD
