Be a force multiplier with your passion for developing talent and growing a team. Do you geek out on craft and career development, promoting a learning environment, overall team health, and problem solving? This job is about helping designers define and clarify a path to accomplish their goals. Your time will be dedicated to helping both the designer and the team achieve the best possible outcome from our collective efforts. You will partner with team leadership and production to align growth opportunities with project needs. You will assist in identifying resources to fill designer skill gaps. Your experience as a creator and leader in video game design will help make us function better together. We're looking for an extraordinarily dedicated person to come spend some quality time in Sanctuary and descend into the deep dark dungeons of Diablo with us!

Stuff You Are Familiar With

You may wonder what it will take to be successful in this role. You’ve helped develop and make clear paths for designer’s craft and career development and facilitated performance reviews for a team. You partner well with design leadership, design management, production, and HR. You have strong interpersonal skills and are an effective communicator. Overall, you are the glue that binds a great team together.

To succeed, you must have…

• 1-2 years experience managing people or leading teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Empathy, focus, and a calm demeanor

• Experience with mentorship or sponsorship
• Experience with staffing, interviewing, and team building
• Initiative and follow-through to solve problems
• Understanding of current Diablo gameplay and systems
• Experience in game design or game development leadership roles
