Associate Delivery Manager

Job Description

Ubisoft is currently looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and organize transversal initiatives for two teams, which are part of Ubisoft worldwide online solutions. Our teams have an international footprint and company-wide impact integrating virtually all Ubisoft’s online tools and services. Associate Delivery Manager’s role will be that of an organizer and facilitator to guide the distributed Scrum organizations to achieve cross-domain objectives with a focus on collaboration, milestones and quality-oriented development.
Associate Delivery Manager will demonstrate strong organizational skills, outstanding communication and inner drive to succeed. In an international context, you will interact with product managers in Paris, external partners & IT project managers and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Drive high-quality results/deliveries through discipline and effective communication;
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owners, Project Managers and Team Leads in identifying and planning long- and short-term delivery flow strategy, priorities, objectives, and requirements;
• Build iterative cross-domain project roadmaps based on input of Agile teams in charge of individual products&services;
• Build and maintain initiatives charters to ensure a common understanding of scope, timeline, roles, and other project aspects;
• Define project communication strategy and execute accordingly (e.g. roadmap workshops, steering committees, release and sprint reports, project status reports);
• Manage team's impediments: both organizational and operational;
• Pro-actively perform risks management and mitigation strategy to ensure the impact on delivering according to the agreed planning is reduced at a minimum;
• Assist Product Owners/Project Managers in managing and maintaining the product backlog related to the transversal subjects in charge to ensure visibility and priorities follow-up.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Work experience of at least 4 years within the IT department as Team Manager/Team Lead;
• Familiar with web and online development technologies & processes;
• Strong project management skills;
• Proven ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently;
• Strong time-management skills and attention to detail;
• Proficiency with time tracking and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, JIRA Agile, SharePoint, Confluence);
• A capability of tracking, managing and resolving multiple issues and risks efficiently;
• Strong interpersonal skills are must, including presentation, meeting facilitation, and team-building techniques;
• Excellent business writing skills.
• Fluency in English.
