Associate Content Marketing Specialist

The Content Marketing Specialist supports the team by executing community, social, and content marketing initiatives. This individual will manage our relationship with our player communities through writing and editing content for a variety of communications channels, including websites, forums, and social media pages. Maintaining an active awareness of player sentiment, engaging with the community, and providing player feedback to management will be important aspects of this role. The individual in this role will have a primary focus on our Aion MMO game but will also have the opportunity to contribute to other NC titles.
In this role you will:
- Implement assigned online community activities
- Coordinate messaging and publish content across multiple communication platforms
- Manage the website publishing pipeline, including scheduling, review loops, localization, content entry, content encoding, and content publishing
- Monitor, moderate, and engage on NCSOFT owned communication channels for assigned product, including social media and forums
- Write and edit on-brand messaging about the company and its products in a solid, consistent voice
- Surface player feedback about product issues and concerns, becoming a voice and advocate of the player with internal stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional marketing groups to promote and support game releases
- Analyze and report on community, social media, content marketing activities, campaigns, and sentiment
- Assist the team in operational and administrative support tasks
- Assist the team in executing live events, promotions, and campaigns
- As required, travel domestically and globally (when it is safe)
What we’re looking for:
- 1 - 3 years' experience working in community management, social media, or content marketing roles
- A coachable, flexible, open, and self-motivated personality with a supportive, team-focused mindset
- Strong willingness to learn and receive guidance from senior team members
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
- Ability to develop a deep understanding of assigned NCSOFT games and the people that play them
- Ability to develop a strong understanding of our brands in order to create content that is consistent with brand standards
- Exemplary writing skills, especially when it comes to producing copy that resonates with passionate fan communities
- Superb attention to detail with excellent organizational, project management, and coordination skills
- Bias for action

We are currently working remotely from home. When it is safe, this position will be based in Newport Beach, California and is expected to be a hybrid role.
