Founded in 2005, 2K has established a rich heritage for publishing some of the biggest franchises in gaming. This includes blockbuster titles such as NBA 2K, Borderlands, Bioshock, WWE 2K, Civilization, XCOM, and more. During that time, we’ve been fortunate enough to build a passionate and driven fan base who are eager to engage with our brands on a deeper level. The Global Brand Marketing Team is comprised of experienced, award-winning marketing and brand professionals working together and across the company to create innovative campaigns for 2K’s latest games.
What We Need:
We are looking for an Associate Brand Manager who, under the direction of the Brand Manager, will work closely with the global brand team and cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven, innovative, strategic global marketing plans based on key consumer insights that will inform local territory go-to-market plans.
What You Will Do:
Assist in the development and execution of the global brand strategy and planning, including market research, audience targeting, product positioning, creative, communications, promotions and lifecycle marketing programs based on data-driven insights.
- Monitor marketing results and optimize plans to drive effectiveness and efficiency
- Assist with the development of creative campaigns and coordinate the production and distribution of final assets (key art, packaging, trailers, screenshots, social assets, sales support materials, etc.) to the relevant stakeholders
- Liaise with cross-functional marketing and creative teams for regular updates and occasionally drive weekly business sync meetings
- Research and track competitive campaigns, activity and product feature sets
- Independently manage smaller-scale game and alternative SKU launches as an opportunity for further professional development
- Evaluate potential strategic partnerships to expand awareness, increase sales opportunities and extend the product lifecycle
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing team on direct email marketing efforts and CRM activities
- Manage the purchase order process for relevant projects and track against budget
- Other related duties as required

- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications. MBA a plus
- 2-5 years of experience in brand and/or product marketing required
- A proactive, results-driven problem solver with the ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of and/or a willingness to learn about gaming and other pop-culture-related trends
- A passion for video games. In-depth knowledge of PC strategy games, particularly Civilization & XCOM, a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe applications (e.g. Photoshop.)
